I just love this product! I've a 2 year old 35 Kg Golden Retriever dog that could be really painful when taking out for a walk. It keeps on pulling my arm no matter what I tried like choke chain, choke collar, etc which all led to hurting it's neck area and also losing fur in that area., I almost tried up everything in the market and ended up on this. Since, I didn't know much of this I bought it based on the reviews from Amazon.com. And the amazingly my dog stopped pulling after I combined this with a normal collar while taking out for a walk. The best part is that it doesn't even hurt him even a little. Basically it just pulls down his head down and blocks his line of sight. He just stops there until I let some slack of the rope. For any large breed dog owners I'd definitely recommend this. Still after 1 year of regular usage the collar is in perfect condition. Worth the money paid.

The strap tore within just 4 days of use. For the price of Rs. 1683/-, I feel cheated.

I know describing this as “life changing” sounds over dramatic but it has changed my life for the better!I have a very strong, large dog (over 30kg), I have done lots of training him with on the lead and even had a behaviourist out a couple of times but the lead pulling was still bad. I was worried I was going to sustain an injury or be pulled into traffic as he’s still a pup so still growing and getting stronger. This gentle leader has stopped almost all pulling. On the rare occasion he is able to pull me, it’s not with the same force as before. This gives me so much control - before I dreaded walking past people and dogs as he would pull to get to them as he is very sociable- now I can walk past people and dogs easily. I was even able to walk him when there was snow recently as I didn’t need to worry about him pulling me down. I can enjoy our walks now. I didn’t realised just how stressed out the walks were making me until I stated using this. The only down side is my dog isn’t too keen on it. He will sometimes rub his face along the ground during a walk. But most walks he doesn’t fuss with it until we get home. At the start of the year I was considering re-homing him as he was too strong for me and i was struggling to control him. I’m so glad I bought this. There is a strap you attach to the collar incase the dog gets out of the other part - which mine did on the second day - I mustn’t have closed the clasp around his head properly but it didn’t matter as the other strap meant he was still securely attached to the lead.

It is not easy to put on if the dog resists the head collar. The straps look fragile and I wonder if they will tear easily.

Got this for my miniature labradoodle (small retriever sized about 26kg).Fits well and easy to adjust. Makes a instant and very noticeable affect on him pulling.Works great for this, before he would pull your arm out its socket (no joke) and now it removes his ability to get any power behind a pull and has saved a lot of pain.We had the side affect that our dog has become more growly towards other dogs on walks when wearing, but we think this is a feeling of vulnerability issue that is isolated to our dog.Can take a little while to get the tightness of the harness just right, as a few times the dog did get out of it but luckily and by design the harness clips to his collar so no chance of escape!
