A great battery for Powerworks and Snapper 60v outdoor tools
This is a great battery for power works and snapper 60 V outdoor tools. I bought the power works 60 V fast charger as well. I have found with the mower that it lasts about 45 minutes on a charge and it takes about an hour and a half to charge it. So I can mow about a half acre on a full charge. The Charger doesn’t overheat, but the battery does have to cool down for about 15 minutes on the charger before it actually starts charging. For value, it looks like there are some competitors coming out with some cheaper batteries. I saw one that was a five amp hour listed for 130 on Amazon. I wouldn’t be surprised if that price came down to 100 within a year. As soon as that happens I’ll buy a couple more so I don’t have to wait for a recharge! And some other power works tools while I’m at it 😏

Pricey, but works well.
I use this with a Powerworks 60V Backpack Blower. We have Elm and Maple trees. Both drop a prodigious number of leaves. Using a gas blower takes quite a while. So the backpack with a larger, more capable battery makes sense. Fully charged I can keep up with the leaves in our yard. I find that it only takes less than one quarter of the charge to lightly blow off leaves and grass clippings. So when fall comes, I expect this will suffice for removing even our leaves. As I noted, it's two *huge* trees. Whiles it's "just" two trees, we end up with a large pile for our town to collect Several times each fall. I'm very happy with this device. The battery doesn't get overly warm. Properly store and charged it should last a long time.

Do Not Buy Powerworks Backpack Leaf Blower
The battery worked fine but once inserted into the leaf blower it would not come out. Powerworks support was not helpful suggesting using a knife or screwdriver to try to pry the battery out of the blower -- which of course could damage the battery and/or the blower. Outside from these suggestions, the rep said there was nothing they could do since the product was out of warranty. So I just spent $180 (including tax) for a battery that I used only once and and now makes the battery and the blower inoperative. PS This is not the first time the battery got struck. The first time was under warranty and the leaf blower was replaced. Accordingly, I think there is a flaw in the construction of this leaf blower.

Works fine in Snapper
Bought to use with my Snapper electric tools. I downgraded the rating since the battery was NOS (New Old Stock) merchandise. The date code is 12/20/17 = 3+ years before my purchase. This may be why the price on this particular battery model was reduced somewhat. I did save some $$$, but lithium-ion batteries do time out. The run time in my equipment seems to be OK, and it charges fine, so we'll see how it goes in the longer run.

Works in Snapper mower & leaf blower
My Snapper battery chargers both died. I initially thought the batteries would no longer charge. Naturally, these things are no longer made or available. Was on the verge of giving up and buying another new lawnmower because of no longer being able to get working batteries, but saw this battery would fit. It did! But that led me to realize my chargers were the problem. So, also got the charger for this battery, and now I’m set...for as long as THESE work and/or are available, at least. But, I’ll take what I can get!
