Q: Safe for quartz countertops?

Absolutely. These are made of heavy silicone and are velvety soft to the touch. Mine are used on a plexiglas table topper and there are no scratches at all. They would be superb on a quartz countertop. We love the elegant design of these unusual and beautiful trivet mats.

Q: Is it safe to place my air fryer on top of this silicone Trivet Mat?

It’s designed to put a hot dish on, but since an air fryer produces continuous heat I wouldn’t feel comfortable recommending it.

Q: Is it safe to put these in an air fryer (to prevent food from flying into the heating element)?

As the trivets are an open design, I do not think they would keep food from flying into the heating element.

Q: Has anyone had these more than a year? I'm wondering if they start to break, crack, etc.

I have used my silicone trivets more than a year, and they look great. No cracks. No breaks.
