Sherpa Original Deluxe Floral Pet Carrier, Large, Multi Colored

I have a 10 pound malti-poo and she fits in the carrier with a lot of extra room. I put her favorite blanket and toys in it for the trips. Works like a charm .I also use it in the car. I'm not as successful on keeping her inside of it because she like to use it as a perch to see out the window.

I got this for my cat after shopping around and comparing different carriers for months. While I won't be flying with her often, I wanted to make sure I had one that was guaranteed on board, and would fit all regulations. This is it! The bag is well made and can squish to fit under the seat with plenty of room for my cat to sleep and turn comfortably.There is only one pocket on the back of the carrier, which I found big enough to pack a few folded papers, and some treats inside. She took to it immediately thanks in part to the soft inner lining. She loves to nap in it so I leave it out for her to enjoy. I would HIGHLY recommend this bag to anyone with a small dog or cat! It's light and a tad bulky but my cat really likes it and has made traveling easy.

This pet carrier is awesome! I used while flying united. It says it is rated for 16 lb dogs but I used it for my 18 lb dog (he has gained a little weight since buying this). He is a cairn terrier/lhasa apso mix and did amazing in this. Although he is slightly big for the rating, he could turn in it just fine. Also, there is a D ring on the inside that isn't mentioned in the product description but is slightly visible in the picture. The D ring was useful because I made a short "leash" that connected his harness to the inside so that he could not jump out (and he could still turn). The opening on the top is what my dog loved. I kept treats and my boarding pass in the back pocket.

I think we got lucky with our new french bulldog puppy. I have never flown with a pet before. On our flight with Delta, it was the easiest I have traveled. They were very nice and friendly when checking us in. Approved this bag no problem. Our little Peaches was 14 lbs at 5 months when we flew. She walked beside me in the airport, but as soon as I put her into her carrier, she went right to sleep. I did learn it is easier to fit the bag under your seat if you slide in from the aisle, and not push it from above. She slept the full 3 hour flight both trips. At home she still likes playing in it as it sits on the floor.

Took my 13 lbs tabby from east coast all the way to the west. 8 hour-flight in total with one stop. He is a big cat (not fat, just tall) and he seemed quite comfortable in there. And that was his time time ever in a flight and he even hates travelling in car. Of course it's important to train your pet properly to get familiar with the carrier before your actual travelling date, especially if it's a shy cat. The carrier is very sturdy, easy to carry on shoulder or on top of a carry on luggage. Loved it.

I bought the medium Sherpa bag for my 11 pound pup for her first flight. We flew Southwest. The bag was perfect!!! Fits under the seat perfectly! I used a middle seat but I think a window seat would be fine as well width wise. Great bag, very sturdy. I like the top and front zipper options. I use it as a seat for her during car rides too by leaving the top open. Have no doubts about buying this bag!

I got the Medium Sherpa for my 13lb cat for airplane travel. I introduced it to her days before and got her used to it. Airport gave me no problems. Check-in and security was a breeze we got there early in case. I flew American Airlines with an aisle seat and the Sherpa fit underneath as intended. Never going back to a plastic carrier. My cat was more manageable and comfortable in a Sherpa.

Bought this for an 18 lb miniature schnauzer to take in the cabin of an airplane. It worked great! While he is a little snug, he has enough room if he is laying down, and it fit under the plane seat without a problem. We've flown so far on Spirit and Southwest.
