BLOCK Black Archery Target 16"

Great size for throwing in the trunk and heading into the woods to launch a few from the tree stand! If you are learning or have kids learning in the back yard I would recumbent the largest size.

This Block target is OK. Nothing special. Does great with taking bolts from a Barnett Raptor FX crossbow as long as I use field points. Broadheads tear big chunks of the target out when you remove most of the time (I know how to remove them straight and they still tear it up). Don't see how it can be advertized for use with broadheads. If you are extremely careful, sometimes you can get them out without much damage, but certainly not ideal or easy. I contacted the company a few times politely through their website, and they never responded back. This is not the crossbow version of the Block, so I get that, but it has the same issues even with my son's recurve bow. Still a great product for using fieldpoints. For that it is exceptional... just not great for broadheads, so not really as advertised in my experience. Arrows do come out easily enough if you use some sort of arrow puller or a piece of rubber to aid in pulling. But without a puller they can be quite hard to pull out without a pulling aid.

I would have given it a 5 out of 5 but the bottom of it has this tear in it and every where my husband sit it in the house it leaves little black crumbs. I'm sure they aren't all like this. It still works so there is no need to return it. I think I might just put duck tape over that spot. It's freezing cold out and the wind is blowing hard so he doesn't want to go outside and test it till spring. But his friend has one and that is why he wanted one so I'm sure it works.
